Our Website Privacy Policy sets out how we, Northiam Village Hall Trust (hereafter referred to as NVHT) obtain, store and use your personal information collected on this website in line with EU legislation and data protection law of 25th May 2018. 

By using our website, you agree to the use and treatment of your personal information in accordance with this Website Privacy Policy.

Our websites will not store or capture your personal data (e.g. name, email address) without the prior knowledge and consent of you the user. In the event that you are asked to provide personal information to the website, you may be asked whether you wish to receive any further communication from the NVHT. We will make sure all personal data that is supplied is held as securely as possible, in accordance with the Data Protection Act. We will retain your Personal Information for the minimum period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy.

Data

The NVHT does not sell or otherwise transfer any personal data to commercial companies or other organisations, with the exception of web statistics which are hosted and managed by Google analytics services. (see Analytic tools below)

Analytical tools 

We use Google Analytics to help us measure the performance of our website and tailor it to ensure it meets the needs of both you the user and the NVHT. The data collected is anonymous and does not identify the you but provides us with a summary of the number of visitors and visits, the location by country, time and date of the visit and type of hardware used. This data is held for three years from collection to enable the NVHT to assess the use and effectiveness of the site with that of preceding years. None of this data is shared with third parties.

How we use cookies

We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to user needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
